Video Games Consoles History

Reporting on Game Consoles and its evolution…?
Our prof told us to report any topic regarding computer technology and I thought of Console Gaming and its evolution (coz I love playing video games). My prof overheard what I was saying and appointed me to be the first to start to report to the class! And the report will start on Saturday!!! I still have no idea where to start… maybe history of video games or something… there’s so many console OMG!!! Could anyone help me out here?
BTW… I’m a college freshie.
I think there are a few books about this that I’ve seen – try Amazon.
I think if you like video games, you’ll probably hav heard of the Atari – which was the first really popular console player.
I think the timeline goes something like this…
Atari
Atari 2000
Nintendo
Sega Genesis
3DO
Sega Saturn/ Sony Playstation
Xbox
Game Cube
etc., etc.,
I’m sure if you look up Atari and video games you can get a good history on Google.

The treatment of that era has some of the inventing-the-wheel quality of documentaries such as Dogtown and Z-Boys in its breathlessne… |
