Copyright of the image in the UK?
What is the legal point of view (in the UK) with respect to the copyright of the images? In particular, the characters and the focus at this time. So if I wanted to print a batch of posters for the resale of the stars, the characters TV and video games, etc characters? The images were obtained from the internet. Thanks in advance for the thoughts of these people!
The holder of the rights author (or their assignees) is the only legally permitted to copy, display, print or sell the work. If you are going to do what you say, then you could do in infringements of copyright and could be costly to you depending on which is copyright holder. Here is the section of the restricted acts copyright in a work (1) The owner of copyright in a work has, according to the following provisions of this Chapter, the exclusive right to perform the following acts in the United Kingdom () to copy the work (see Section 17), (b) to issue copies of the work of the public (see section 18), (c) to perform, show or play the work in public (see section 19), (d) to broadcast the work or include it in a cable program service (see section 20), (e) make an adaptation of the work or do any of the above in relation to adaptation (see section 21), and those acts referred to in this Party as "acts restricted by copyright." (2) copyright of a work, precludes a person without the permission of the copyright owner does, or authorizes another to do any of the acts restricted by copyright.
